My local animal shelter recently posted a heartwarming tale. One of the dogs that had been in their care since August was promoted on their Facebook page in the hopes of finding her a home for the holidays. Her original owner had left her in the care of a friend during a relocation. She escaped and was a stray for some time before the shelter found her. He or someone he knew saw the post on Facebook and he ended up reunited with her last week.
