Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body.

It plays several important roles in the health of your body and brain.
However, you may not be getting enough of it, even if you eat a healthy diet.
Here are 10 evidence-based health benefits of magnesium.

I track my nutrients in CronOmeter and one of the only two micronutrients I'm regularly short on is Magnesium, this is has gone on so long that I finally got a RD recommended Mg supplement.

Anyway, I was a little surprised to learn that this deficiency is wide spread.

Coffee!!! :kissing_heart: Had no idea, but that would put me over the top

I still sometimes check cronometer and always good on mag and potassium.
Good old beans, legumes, greens, nuts, seeds, tofu, cocoa, tempeh, grains....
Haven't had a cramp in I can't remember, but I used to get them prior to veg'n

Mg and K are my two problem areas. and yes, I know, I need to eat more potatoes.
Although I eat a lot of those things that are between 40 and 80 mg, I need to eat 7 or more servings of those things a day - and I just don't normally get up that high. My mg sup has 100 mg. So that helps lots.
