Leicester Vegan Fair

I usually go to one a year, but it's always the bigger ones like Vegfest. There aren't currently any in Manchester, so I always have to travel quite a way and I'd rather travel for the massive ones. Leicester is a bit far :(

But have fun! :D

I've been to a few of the vegan and veggie events before, but not for a few years now and I haven't been to the Leicester one before. They usually have lots of lovely free food samples to taste and if you bring a non-veg friend it is a good way to introduce them to new food. I hope you have fun if you decide to go.:)

I've been to the one in Bristol (I think it's vegfest now?) and a few in London before, such as Christmas Without Cruelty and I think they're fantastic. There's usually lots of free food which is good in itself but also good for getting to try a big range of (usually quite expensive) vegan foods, rather than buying a load of packs to try and finding you don't like half of them. The catering is usually delicious, and it's great being able to eat everything there too! There's often vegan pancakes, vegan burgers/cheese burgers, curries, cakes, trifle... all sorts really! There's also lots of information on veganism, recipe books, charities, campaigns, that sort of thing. Sometimes cooking demos and AR/vegan talks. :) But mostly I just go for the food/products/free samples!

Once I bought some discount beyond skin shoes for £30 down from over £100... that was a really great day, I still have them, and I love them to pieces. I never thought I'd be able to afford a pair !
