Last Thing You Bought?

I've never seen that before, not that I drink coffee, but I could put it in my chicory.

Lentil based milk, I've never heard of that.

I have been wearing backpacks or cross body bags a lot lately so I bought two new cross body bags and a new purse from Amazon. Boring other things like new tea towels and doormats too.

Lecithin and refined coconut oil so I can make butter.
Is your lecithin really thick like molasses?
Have you tried Violife butter? I just saw that in an ad

I bought a hand mixer that has a storage case it sits in. It was 9.99 on sale at Drug Mart. I almost passed as I have a KitchenAid , but I did use my old quite a bit. Glad I got it. Trying really hard to not shop amazon

I don't think it's as thick as molasses. I haven't opened it yet so I'll let you know when I do. I bought sunflower instead of soy.

I have tried Violife. It's very much like earth balance imo. Good for baking. But more like dairy margarine whereas Miyoko is more like butter.

An extra tall gate for the doorway to the cat room. I want to be able to leave the door open but have separation for Stella, where she can see them but not go after them and vice versa. I hope the introduction goes smoothly.

I had to do a lot of rearranging, putting two litter boxes that Stella uses in the second bedroom, which is where I hang out and watch TV. The third bedroom which I named the cat room, will be for the kittens for now. But it's also used for storage. We installed wall to wall shelving so I had to remove anything that the kittens could possibly get into. I will be working on it all day.

Luckily I had a lot of cat stuff left from Joon and Bratt and I had given some of it to my son for when he took in my sister's cat. Sable has since passed so I'm cleaning everything up for the kittens.

I'm nervous but excited. They are very sweet. And very energetic lol.

Oh yeah...and carpet pads/treads for the stairs because even though Stella is no longer chasing Chay, anytime Stella moves Chay anticipates getting chased and makes a run down the stairs lol. It's funny-ish but I'm worried she will hurt herself.

I have bought quite a bit of stuff lately! The sd card in my dash cam somehow got corrupted so I had to order that; I got a two pack. I think maybe the heat may have been the culprit in damaging the card so I now have an extra one. I also got another smart plug for a lamp in the living room so that when I come home in the dark I can just say "Alexa turn on plug two" and won't have to stumble to a light switch. I have to come home from work in the dark now sometimes. I have a smart plug in the bedroom and it is very convenient.
I also treated myself to a new pair of knee high boots that I couldn't resist at a little local shop downtown. They are of course fake leather and were only $60 which is great for boots.

I haven't bought anything yet, but today I plan to buy a rack or bin for potato storage in the basement. They will keep better down there because it's much cooler. I also need to make a Trader Joe's run for maple syrup, canned dolmas and whatever else I fancy. :) I had thought about going over the weekend, but the plaza where TJ's is is a zoo on the weekends, so I thought better of it and decided to wait until today. :)

I miss TJs so much. I liked their chocolate chips. And I buy Costco's maple syrup.

I do go to Costco. I will check out the maple syrup there because the TJ's bottle of maple syrup I usually get went up in price quite a bit -- to $15 and change! I did get the chocolate chips, though. They were $4 per bag, which is way better than $10. :D I also bought some canned dolmas.

Does TJ's syrup a quart? Costco is 33oz at like 14-15
I'm thinking of opening the eggplant spread that is a can like the Dolmas. I've never had it, but Merle on YouTube loved it.
