Has anyone used Hungryroot or another meal kit service? I'm coming up on my insane busy season with my job and I need some quick meals and not shopping. I was drawn to the home group mostly because it's more fresh and it's not frozen. I know I can meal prep myself and use a crockpot, but I'm going to have 1 day off a week and I would rather do yoga and relax. It's going to be like 60 hours a week. (I'm going to hate it.) I'm already exhausted. Just thinking about it.

I haven't, but I know other people who have and said it was good and convenient. They said the recipes they were given gave them ideas of what to cook themselves.

I have never had a meal service like this however, if you have to do the cooking then IMO you won't be saving any time - if they come already cooked and you just have to heat up then it may be worth the cost for sure. We don't have HungryRoot in Canada, we do have some others and most of them you have to cook it yourself.

I have tried a couple of them but (as others have said) you still have to prep and cook. They just send you the ingredients and recipes. It was nice not having to plan a meal but it still takes time to prepare and it's costly because the shipping is a lot. The ones I tried had limited heat and serve options especially for vegans/vegetarians. The totally vegan companies are really expensive. I just buy the frozen stuff at Publix instead.
