How the bacteria in your gut affects your cravings for food

This is what I commented on Raw Story:

In June of last year, my sister and I went out for pizza to celebrate my birthday. By the time I got home that night, I was really sick with stomach cramping, diarrhea and vomiting. When my sister found out, she insisted that I start taking probiotics. She considers the one sold by Dr. Mercola to be the best, and gave me some to start with. Since I have had gut problems my whole life, I agreed to take them, and discovered that probiotics have really made a difference in my life. I take probiotics every day without fail. If I start having stomach cramping, I take more probiotics, and they help calm my stomach. I also try to consume probiotics in food, such as yogurt.

Gut health is really about prebiotics.....so overall diet is the key. But products with probiotics are a lot more profitable.
