I have been vegan since 2020 mid and have been a very bright and intelligent kid but soon depression and family pressure and abuse took a toll on me and I tried to kill myself on 10 October 2022 (world mental health day apparently). I got treated and lost my liver got a liver transplant and since then my liver health has been up and down coz of a lot of factors like persistent self harm thoughts and refusing to take treatment but now that I have learned a lot i live for myself and do activism online and download in person outreaches in banglore, i am originally from coimbatore. I have proved to my doctors that a vegan diet is indeed what you should rely on for health and ethical reasons by making a full recovery and showing signs of faster healing compared to others. I am almost 16 rn things have been very lovely lately as I am meeting more vegans and doing more outreach.

Hi Ajay , l hope you are still checking in here .. You are a part of the whole - a part of the All Pervading Reality ... As such , you are precious and worth exactly the same as any other human or animal being .. Self -love is a very important part of being able to love others - animals and humans .

Now is the time to nurture and care for that body .. You have a second chance with a new liver , and I encourage you to keep going and keep learning how to love yourself .. Life can be beautiful when we have deep connections to others and have a sense of purpose .. We all need someone to love and a reason to be ..
Being loved is wonderful , but it's the loving that we give that fills us with inner joy and is the (vegan) cream on the (vegan) cake .. Loving opens our hearts and minds ..
Be loving to yourself , then loving to another ... Love is what we are here for .

Sending hugs to you ,
Ruthie
