If my male pattern baldness accelerates for a few months due to stress, is that hair gone forever even when I get rid of the stress?
I understand that stress can cause temporary hair loss and that it will grow back in people who don't have male pattern baldness. However, I understand that there is evidence that stress can accelerate male pattern baldness. So if you have male pattern baldness, and you lose a lot of hair over a few weeks or months (with the hairline receding more) because of some stress, is it possible for that hair to regrow once you get rid of the stress, or is that hair gone forever?
