I'm sooo tired of hearing how it's hard to be plant based, or you need so much careful planning. It isn't that plant based eating is difficult, it's that the readily available foods and traditions either arebn't there, or they're specialty foods that are expensive!
Here's my starter list:
Mayo
nooch flavored snacks
good vegan yogurts, esp plain
dark chocolate without dairy
peanut m&ms
tofu as an option for all restaurant dishes
a selection of frozen lunch items (Stouffers used to have 2, one was a butternut squash ravioli, people still remember that one)
Bring back good plant based nuggets at the same price. I've had really really good ones and they've been gone. Feels like it intentional to keep good alternatives out of the market
Make "Plant Based" mean made without any animal ingredients!

so many of the great vegan products are disappearing... Field Roast Sausage,

we still have field roast here. maybe they just don't have them in your stores

I don't like many of the burgers either - but I never did. I think Impossible is my favorite. I buy boca most often because they are one of the least expensive and I find that a lot of it is knowing how to prepare them

my thing is milk chocolate - it can be made with plant milk but they are expensive. It shouldn't be hard or expensive to buy plant based chocolate. although to be vegan I think it also should be ethically sourced.

yes; Coke may be vegan, but it isn't Planeteer.......

who said anything about coke?
but brownie points for using the word "planeteer"
You're right, no one mentioned Coke. I just thought it was a relevant product. Theoretically, it is vegan (free from animal products) but it's bad for the planet: Coke-a-cola company polluting and draining water resources for native populations, that sort of thing. I don't think it fits in the vegan-lifestyle because of that. [Shrug] I could be wrong.
