TV & Film Doctor Who (Spoilers!)

We are two episodes into the season, what do you think?

I liked the second episode, but not the first.

The idea of going inside a Dalek was neat!

I've never understood how or why the reptilian and the bald alien are living in the 19th century. And when did the reptilian meet the human and get married?

I know the origin story of the reptilian and the bald alien. I saw the episodes where each was introduced into the doctor who universe. But how did they get to where they are now? I don't think I've missed any episodes, so I'm confused.

The new Doctor seems kind of bland and Clara just doesnt seem to "fit" as a companion.

I think that the writing (pacing?) is a bit clumsy but I like Capaldi's Doctor and am eager to see where the story goes. The whole "Heaven" thing is intriguing and bizzare.

I am slightly disappointed in who missy turned out to be. I read that theory on a couple sites and thought that would be silly. Damn it.

I actually don't mind that the Master is back, because the Master is one of the Doctor's permanent villains, even if the end of the last story arc where he died was absolutely perfect and incredibly emotional.

I am annoyed that now she's just another one of Moffat's spunky sexualized female villains.

And I'm starting to just learn to put up with the oversaturation of Cybermen and Daleks in the new series, because it's clear we're not going to get a reasonable amount of them in story-friendly doses until someone else takes over.

I feel like if we didn't keep getting The Girl Who Saved The Doctor And Time And Space Super Super Really Important On The Brink Of Infinity as the companion, Clara might not be quite as boring.

But yes. Agree. Same old, same old.

I like Clara. But I also have accepted that Moffat is the worst when it comes to character development, and particularly sucks at lady characters, so the last several seasons I've tried to look past the character as written and at how the actor is portraying the character. And I feel like the Jenna Coleman is working the hell out of a shittily written role.

But yeah. Was pretty upset with the ending of the season. Boo.
