I get the appeal of foraging, but I'm not about to start nibbling on random leaves in my local park. Too many dogs, for a start. That said, I do try to grow a few bits in pots on the balcony. Herbs mostly. Nothing beats fresh basil.
But I'm also not going to pretend I don't buy the odd processed vegan burger. Sometimes you just fwant something quick and familiar. Living overseas as a British expat, I've had to adjust. I still order a box of PG Tips and some McVitie's Digestives from McGrocer when I'm craving a proper cuppa and a biscuit. Not exactly bush tucker, but it keeps me sane.
Each to their own, I say. Forage if you can, but don't judge the rest of us for grabbing a vegan sausage roll from the supermarket
