Are you a people person or an animal person?

I'm certainly an animal person. I don't know if I'm a "people person".

I'm not a social person, I prefer to spend time alone or with my fiance. But I love people, I generally see the good in people and get along with well and easily, it's just I'm not particularly interesting in maintaining lots of friendships, or spending lots of time socialising. I love people, I just love being on my own more!

I wouldn't say I was much of either. The animals of others tend to get on my nerves as much as other people do. I'm civil to both, but I require a period of solitude after any extended visit.

A mild case of paranoia is ideal in this world :)
Enough to keep you alert, but not so much that you can't sleep at night.

I have that, but that doesn't mean that you have to question peoples intentions all the time.

I'm clearly more of an animal person. The complexity of humans; their array of emotions, needs and desires creates a twisting labrynth that I just can't commit to navigating. So I can relate to and enjoy the company of humans on a very basic surface level - but venturing into the various layers I usually end up dissapointed. That is not to say I don't find certain people whom I share an intimacy with extremely enjoyable to be with. (I've already navigated those waters - I have an investment in those relationships.) And I'm curious about some people to the extent that I would enjoy their company, but these occasions are pretty rare and only with a select group - and most of the time I don't have any desire to expand it.

With animals - you can cut through all that crap. A meaningful and lasting relationship can be established in very little time. And unlike humans, they rarely disappoint.

I'm a bit self-conscious around animals, just like people......it always feels a bit odd stroking a cat.......I'm even a bit shy of my sisters, as I don't see them very often......yea, cats, dogs, cows all have their own views on things and I wonder what they think of me, and my attempt to stroke their heads...:)

If I wasn't a people person, I wouldn't be part of so many forums and online social hubs. Of course, I prefer to be around people that share my interests (hence the forums). I don't like the general public and most people I know in real life (with exceptions of course), and I like most of the people I know online(again, with exceptions).

I'm not a big animal person, but I do have compassion for them and I wish for them to not have anything bad happen to them.

I do love cats though.

I love being with cats and dogs! I now have too many cats, and no dog...
It wouldn't be too many if they didn't need vet care...
Two cats just had teeth removed, and another is on antibiotics for her annual urinary infection.

Yeah, I don't tired of cats and dogs, but people I can only take for short periods of time.

I guess I am an animal person. I'm really an everything that is alive person. I would probably have been a people person if I hadn't been bullied in school. Now I keep my distance from people and just love everyone else but them.

I don't feel like a "people person", but most people I know would probably say I was. I guess I play the part well. I wouldn't call myself an non-human animal person either. I sure do like them, but I guess I am kind of awkward with them and mostly don't know how to interact with them very well. I guess I feel awkward around all animals! Human and non-human!

I think that I am both with maybe a slight leaning toward people. I love them all. Even the unlovables.

Neither like me, both annoy me. I am better one on one rather groups, so I say person person.

I prefer the company of nonhumans the very large majority of the time.
