@shyvas I gave your post just above a "love" rating because I was thinking how good the four(!) seals this team rescued must have felt to be rid of the plastic.
More wildlife crime. I'm overwhelmed by this cruelty.

Write your statement by giving your name, maybe add a little about yourself, then explain how you came to learn about this crime. Explain how this has affected you personally (eg. instrusive thoughts, nightmares etc), and possibly how it has affected your community, if you live close to where this took place.
Additionally / alternatively, you could write about the true victim of this crime, Eunice, to whom the court will give no consideration whatsoever (she is regarded as property). You could be factual, or you could use your imagination to put yourself in her position.
