@shyvas I gave your post just above a "love" rating because I was thinking how good the four(!) seals this team rescued must have felt to be rid of the plastic.
Have you noticed pigeons struggling with string and hair wrapped around their feet? You want to help...but how? Maybe you can't catch them? Maybe you are worried about harming them if you do something wrong?
This 90-minute workshop will give you a solid foundation, and the confidence to start helping your local stringfoot pigeons.
A Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants on the day of the workshop.
The workshop is in English. A recording will be available to all participants after the live event.

''I was tortured and explosives were placed inside my body. When my perpetrators lit up the explosives, I was still alive but in agony, terrified and confused. My live was taken from me and I had a baby who is now an orphan.
The sentencing of these vile murders is on Monday 23rd February at Hove CC. Please come to the protest. Please write a Victim Impact Statement on my behalf.''
If the sentencing judge allows a Victim Impact Statement by Proxy next month, it could set a much-needed precedent and begin to address an alarming rise and normalisation of animal cruelty in the UK.
We would appreciate members helping us to secure a prison sentence for two sheep killers. Please write a victim impact statement and email to the addresses hereunder (bottom of text) in your own words.
HELP NEEDED TO SECURE A PRISON SENTENCE FOR TWO SHEEP KILLERS WHO ALSO TORTURED A SHEEP
ACTION: VICTIM IMPACT STATEMENTS (VIS / VISP):
We need as many people as possible to send in victim impact statements to the police and the CPS.
We know that many of you have been deeply affected by this crime. These statements are an opportunity to make these feelings known to the court.
Write your statement by giving your name, maybe add a little about yourself, then explain how you came to learn about this crime. Explain how this has affected you personally (eg. instrusive thoughts, nightmares etc), and possibly how it has affected your community, if you live close to where this took place.
Additionally / alternatively, you could write about the true victim of this crime, Eunice, to whom the court will give no consideration whatsoever (she is regarded as property). You could be factual, or you could use your imagination to put yourself in her position.
Once you've written it, send your Victim Impact Statements to:

Leighton Ashby, 22, and 20-year-old Oakley Hollands chased the animal before punching and kicking it for 30 minutes at a field near Ditchling Beacon in the South Downs.
Humane Canada is the national federation of SPCAs and humane societies. Our vision is simple: building a humane country. Together, we can end animal cruelty.
