Space Sciences Amazing NASA discovery on Pluto - what could it be?

[Second Summer]

Dr Alan Stern, a planetary scientist and Principal Investigator on Nasa's New Horizons Pluto mission, made the exciting announcement whilst speaking at the University of Alberta in Canada.

Whilst speaking about the latest images of Pluto captured by the New Horizons probe, Stern said: "Nasa won't let me tell you what we're going to tell you on Thursday. It's amazing."

The article lists a couple of amazing discoveries they've already made on Pluto - weather, hazes, active geology. So what could be even more amazing? Signs of life?

I hope it is a Monolith.......or at least a pyramid.......they've probably just found a volcano, or a big rock....

I'm guessing it will be more mundane - perhaps Saturn like rings that are faint/scattered and difficult to pick up with normal cameras.

Or myabe some more geological features.

Someone said in the article comments that the Pluto sky was more likely black when actually seen from Pluto itself. Well, I'm a little disappointed! I thought it was something far more exciting than this.
