UK Vegan Friendly Cities

I`m not at all surprised by this survey. Brighton indeed, is a very friendly vegan city and in general most people
don`t blink an eye when you ask for a plant based dish in all pubs, cafes, eateries.

I haven't visited that many cities in the UK yet, but I can see how Brighton would score highly. Sounds like a relatively decent study and methodology.

Reading isn't too far from where we live, so I've been there quite a few times, often to vegan festivals and markets, so I can see how that city made it to the list.

I used to go to Reading quite often. It also has a great shopping centre. Love the fact that it`s mainly all pedestrian and that the railway station is virtually in the town centre.

Brighton has proudly been crowned the most vegan-friendly city in the United Kingdom, a title bestowed upon it by a comprehensive study conducted by train company LNER. The research, which meticulously analyzed Google search data, the abundance of vegan restaurants listed on HappyCow, and the availability of vegan takeaway options on Deliveroo across the 20 largest cities in the UK, has positioned Brighton at the forefront of the nation’s vegan scene.

The study, which assigned each city a score out of 100 based on the gathered data, reveals Brighton’s stellar performance with an impressive score of 86.9. The top 10 most vegan-friendly cities also include Manchester (64.9), Bristol (59.9), Edinburgh (54.5), London (39.4), Glasgow (33.9), York (33.0), Liverpool (25.5), Cardiff (23.7), and Reading (22.8).
