Spotted: vegan ice cream

Just thought I'd pass along that Freya and I came across Almond Dream ice cream in Waitrose last week. There were maybe 4? flavors in our local shop. We sampled some mint chocolate chip. Not the most natural and/or healthy of foods, but very tasty.

Also, our local Spar shop now carries Swedish Glace! I think the shops are independently owned, but it was pretty cool to spot vegan ice cream in this teeny shop. We also picked up some "Vegetarian Eggless Noodles" which were nice.

I was just about to post about almond dream in the veg*n products thread I also have a tub of the mint choc chip, which was always a favourite ice cream flavour when I consumed dairy. It's not as good as swedish glacé in my opinion, but the range of flavours is awesome.

Oooohhhh I love almond milk, I want some. Looked it up online and the price isn't too bad, about the same as a Ben & Jerry's (unlike Booja Booja, lovely but I can't afford more than a mini tub haha). Disappointed though, online they advertise cappuccino flavoured but looks like they only have 4 flavours in the UK.

The Ocado near me doesn't have it in stock but there is a Waitrose near my husband's work so I'm going to see if they have it there. I don't think I have tried much vegan ice cream apart from SG (nice) and also Tofutti which wasn't that nice!
