No, this has nothing to do with the next Batman movie. Bat Conservation International has set up a live feed of the bats in Bracken Cave Preserve in the Texas Hill Country near San Antonio. This is the largest bat colony in the world.

If you don't get a picture, it may be because they haven't emerged yet. They emerge at 7:30 pm Central Time.

The caption says they're still working out the bugs in the system. Let's hope the bats eat those bugs so the video will work properly. LOL.

While you're at it, please sign this petition to save the bat colony from destruction by a new housing development.

I think bats are fascinating animals and get a bad rap. They are harmless and shy around people. They're nocturnal. They don't get into people's hair; that's just an old wives' tale. They eat millions of bugs which helps farmers. They don't deserve their bad reputation. (Even so, if you see one, don't touch it as it may have rabies. If you see one on the sidewalk, sick or dead, contact animal control as they can take care of it properly.)
