Remembrance/Poppy Day

I'm feeling somewhat ambivalent about it. On the one hand it's about remembering the sacrifices of those who died in service to their country, which I can sort of understand. On the other hand, I feel it's being used to romanticize or glorify war. The "never again" aspect doesn't get nearly as much attention as it deserves. Think of what a colossal waste of life and property the world wars were.
