I'm crushed. Ozzy is a legend, and he introduced me to hard rock. My (late) brother and I were big fans back in high school, and I remain a big fan today. Both opening bands for the Creed concert last night did nice tributes. Mammoth performed Mama, I'm Coming Home and Daughtry dedicated one of his songs with a similar theme to Ozzy.

I'm not. He was a horrific animal abuser.

@PTree15 I didn't know about most of what he did to animals. I only knew about him biting a bat's head off- which is weird even for someone who doesn't care about animals. More recently, I heard/read the bat was either already dead when he did that, or a fake bat... and considering how Osbourne (and many other public figures) like to project an evil/badbutt/notorious image, I have no real idea of what actually happened.

I never liked his music anyway, even though I do like some fairly hard rock (guilty pleasure of mine). Still, I'll never put rock in the same category as the music of Bach and his sons, Domenico Scarlatti, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms (his 4th symphony is probably my favorite piece of music EVER, although his famous "Lullaby" makes me want to curl up and puke for some reason- go figure), Tchaikovsky (Pyotr, not Bram- although I haven't heard anything by Bram yet, so I'll leave that open), Randall Thompson...

Graham Greene - his home was just south of where I live - an awesome actor. Dances With Wolves and so many more films and shows.

RIP to a wonderful actor. I've never seen Dances with Wolves, but I loved him in Thunderheart with Val Kilmer and in the series Longmire.

RIP. Oh that is so strange as the woman I met today mentioned Dances With Wolves, she was saying that someone she knew had a piece of memorabilia from the film.
