Um yeah I'd call breaking free and trying to go the **** home letting you know! How anyone can assume horses actually enjoy doing this is beyond me. I'd like to hook up a carriage to Mr. Scott Middleton and Mayor Bloomberg and see how they like dragging greedy idiots around a busy city.

It looks like they're saying it ran because it hit the car (it's worded like this, but I'm not sure which actually hit what), not that it hit anything after fleeing. I don't think he was implying they're used to hitting/being hit by cars.
