I saw a trailer for it and decided to pass on it. Not my cup of tea, lol. Did you enjoy it?

It held my attention and some bits were laugh out loud disgusting as it was so graphic, but no, I wouldn't say I enjoyed it or would watch it again. :D

I just watched "Sinners" which is on HBO streaming. This movie was nominated for 16 Academy awards and stars Michael B. Jordan who I really like. It was a really different and disturbing horror movie with a really different take on vampires. Takes place in the 1930's and has some awesome music. Worth watching if you like that kind of movie!

^ I really liked Sinners.

I started to watch the most recent Scream film last night as the new film is coming out soon.

we started to watch Play Date last night with "Reacher" in it and Kevin James but it was just too silly and stupid with gratuitous violence and involving children so we ditched it - very disappointing

I was actually quite surprised that I liked Wuthering Heights. It just focused on the "love story" between Cathy and Heathcliff and glossed over everything else that happened in the book.

I watched the following film on Netflix last night. It was a good story and some excellent acting.

What is the true story behind the movie 2 Hearts?

The film is based on the real-life story of Jorge Bacardi — of the Bacardi Rum dynasty — and Christopher Gregory, an organ donor who tragically and suddenly passed away at the age of 19 from a brain aneurysm. Christopher's organs were donated to five people, one of them being Jorge.

I just watched "One Battle After Another" which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn. It was LONG, 2 hours 43 minutes. It has been nominated for several Academy Awards. I had no idea what it was about when I decided to watch it. It's a crazy, sometimes funny (the characters names for example), story about revolutionaries and is based on a book called "Vineland" which was published in 1990 so it had to be updated. It was good, the acting was amazing. I didn't recognize Sean Penn.

An old time classic; The Ghost & Mrs Muir. It's one of my favourite films.

I remember watching that movie, as a child, in a hotel (we did not have a TV at home) - my parents were at a cousin's wedding and my siblings were babysitting me and put that movie on - because we didn't have a TV it was very scary for me and so I have never forgotten it - I live not far, now, from the hotel that it occurred in and I remember the movie every time I drive in the area. I will have to see if I can find somewhere to watch and maybe lay that ghost to rest.

I should imagine that you can view it on YT for free. It's an excellent film and the actors are simply fabulous.

I watched the Bookshop (2017). lovely film but sort of melancholy. Especially the ending.
I read that the film ends differently than the book but either ending is sort of sad.
Emily Mortimer is great.
It's a period piece. Post WWII England. About a woman who buys a bookshop and then faces opposition.
