TV & Film Movie Lounge

I liked that so much! Oh man, Sam Rockwell and his big toothy grin, I would probably kill any number of bad people with him. And Christopher Walken... :smitten: He's just great, so great, always.

Nod! We got free advance screening tickets to that a while back, awesome movie.

Today Ella Enchanted super cute.

Connie and Carla is a some like it hot type remake. I have not seen in a while it is super funny.

Oh I think I forgot to mention that we saw Iron Man 3 on opening night in IMAX 3D. It was AWESOME.

Hopefully seeing The Great Gatsby soon. Really excited about that :)

This thread has also reminded me that I must get round to watching Cloud Atlas & Seven Psychopaths!

I watched Moonrise Kingdom on Video On Demand today. It's billed as a hilarious comedy, and for a while it did seem rather amusing, until I got to a scene where a dog is killed, with no real traumatic reaction from anyone. :( At that point, the movie didn't really seem very amusing anymore. I watched the rest of it, but with less enthusiasm than before. So this is a warning for anyone who hasn't seen it and is thinking of viewing the movie: There's a scene where a dog is killed, and tbh it seems like a rather pointless killing. :bang: More violence warning, spoiler ahead:
There are also scenes in which 12 year old kids violently stab others with scissors, which I also thought was a little disturbing, especially for a so-called comedy.

Oh my god I will die when Before Midnight comes out. Before Sunrise and Before Sunset are two of my absolute favourites. Utter perfection.

Before Sunrise is a great film. I have Before Sunset, but I haven't watched it yet.

Oh man, there's this one fleeting moment in it - best thing I've ever seen in a film. Lemme know when you've seen it.

Watching Sunrise again now. The plan is to see Sunset right after.

While we wait for Midnight, here's this:

I'm a lot more enlightened now than I was when I first watched Before Sunrise. I have a greater appreciation for the film, and it's till great.

Before Sunset is next.

Started to watch 50/50. I didn't get very far into it. I want to watch it and understand what all the hype is about, but it's just way too depressing.
