Does anyone subscribe to misfits market or another service that sells food which would otherwise be thrown away? If so, is it worth it for a household of two? Also, does it create a lot of trash?

The first year Misfits came out I had a few boxes. I also tried Imperfect -something which was the same principle.
It was the right amount for two, and I don't think I felt any difference between the two companies, it's been like 2-3 years. We were definitely following a healthier diet.
I have a lot of options from produce and farmers markets, as well as regular groceries so I was more judgmental. I could get better values at local stores. I specifically remember beets like golf balls, small and woody!
Glad for the reminder because I do want to look into a local CSA, I think stands for community supported agriculture, where you pay for an allotment from farms that delivery to central pick up places
one of my nearby "cheaper" grocery stores (part of a larger chain) has an entire line of produce and frozen foods called Naturally Imperfect which are about 25% plus cheaper - in produce it includes mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, lemons, limes, potatoes and in frozen it is mostly fruit
