I'm not sure I can explain it. Definitely not sweet but just lacking in any flavor. Kind of like dirt lol The texture was gritty...maybe it was the toffee.

Publix had their vegan bakery cookies buy one get one free so I had to get chocolate chip and salted caramel.

I am looking forward to shopping at Costco when they open one in what used to be the Seminole Town Center Mall which is quite a bit closer to me than any other Costco. This is in Sanford and I go there fairly regularly. It is about a 10 to 15 minute drive. The other Costco is in Daytona Beach which is farther away, more like 45 minutes.

Having a Costco that close is such a game changer, especially compared to a 45 minute haul to Daytona. The Seminole Town Center spot makes a lot of sense for that area since so many people pass through Sanford regularly. I might have to make the trip out there myself once it opens!

I just bought a reduced veg box from Lidl's for 2€. I also got some puf pastry for free thanks to my loyalty card.

There were approx. 8 kgs of courgettes and 4 kgs of carrots in the shopping bag. I've also shared it with my neighbour.
