Last Thing You Bought?

Long overdue shopping trip at the big Asian market- I'd forgotten how great it is!
Usual baby bok choy, shiitakes, miso, rice noodles, tapioca starch, Udon noodles, Wan Ja Shan vegan worcheshire, ginger
I also found fresh fava beans and romano beans! Never had fava besides jarred which weren't good, and haven't seen romano-flat Italian-beans since I was a kid.
Fava beans are weird. They remind me of chestnuts in both flavor and texture
Oh- can't forget my favorite candy-

I made an Aldi run: frozen blueberries, roasted peanuts, celery, spinach, red onions, yellow onions, canned chickpeas, black beans and kidney beans, oatmeal, mini pretzel twists and tortilla chips.

Costco for gas, and bought -
25 lb bag of pinto beans $15.99
8 x 14.5 oz organic diced tomatoes $8.99
2.5 lb bag raw unsalted organic cashews $13.99
Last time I got a 8 pack of organic tomato paste. Was surprised by their prices!

I've got such a stock of food now. I got a great shelving from my company downsizing the stock room!

I've yet to find even a passable vegan frozen pizza.
And yet another reason I believe the limited affordable, tasty, vegan offerings is to keep from normalizing them, rather than saying the demand isn't there. I've had the best vegan nuggets from a brand called Yummy. They were about the same price as their chicken nuggets, and super good. Gone--like so many others. I'd be surprised if Beyond or Impossible last--I'm seeing many omnivores with them at lunch--again, pricey
Trader Joes had a cheese less pizza that was delicious--it had honey. Where have you ever thought a pizza should have honey?
I see cauliflower crusts, chickpea crusts--all sorts of gluten free things. Pizza with a typical pizza crust, sauce and the usual veggies? either pricey or doesn't exist.
I'm gonna put a reminder on my phone to get one from a local shop Mon, when they have the veggie deal! They have a whole list of faux meats but I really just like the veggies
I've yet to like vegan cheese on pizza. I was always picky about pizza cheese when I ate dairy

Wait a minute--is lists "gluten free" boldly, but not vegan? F that.

Does remind me of the topping on the lentil rigatoni recipe I've done-
Blend tofu with some tapioca starch, and (I used) brine from seasoned olives till smooth like pancake batter. Pour over then bake. Olives have subbed for cheese for me and I really like it--in gets thick when baked

I've come to realize how much I just like to buy things! Quitting amazon is hard.....
I did buy the organic cotton percale sheet set I've been wanting. I do not regret that! I despise microfiber sheets. I just hope they last longer than my last ones

That's too bad, because it looks absolutely amazing! I can almost feel the roof of my mouth getting slightly burned as I impatiently tear into a slice...

I'll have to try @silva 's suggestion in post #5817 just above. I haven't been favorably impressed by the vegan cheeses I've had on pizza, either; they weren't "bad", exactly, but they could have been left off the pie altogether and I wouldn't have missed them.

Another thing I like is to mix vegan mayo, Dijon mustard (or any strong flavor mustard), some nooch and salt. I haven't mixed this with tofu for a sauce like above, but that combo is great mixed with pasta, or on any veg or potato.
Trader Joes has a crazy strong dijon I really like
