Just got some Lemongrass

What should I do with it? :???:

Has anyone cooked with it before? How do I use it? Is it edible or just used for flavoring?
 
It's just for flavouring.

Whenever someone is getting sick, I make a Thai inspired clear broth using lemon grass, kefir lime leaves, maybe mushrooms, lots of garlic, ginger and chili peppers, and it knocks it right out of them. Then I throw in whatever veggies my husband isn't allergic to, brown rice and some fried oyster mushrooms.
 
I love fresh lemon grass and can only buy it in the UK.
Make sure that you discard any hard dry outer stalk or part of the bulb.

You can either chop it, use it whole or pound it into a paste. It is ideal for stir fries, curries, stews, soups or you can infuse it in hot water for tea or infusing in alcohol. You can also freez it.
