I prepare meals for myself in bulk that way I only have to cook once every 3 days but the last 2 meals or so always end up having this fluffy white stinky stuff on the almond parts. I keep my foods clean and careful not to expose my foods to room temperature for too long. Does anybody know what this fluff is, if it's safe to eat, why it's happening and how I can prevent it from happening again?

If it stinks I wouldn't eat it. Smell is one of the easiest ways to determine if something is not safe anymore. Having said that, maybe the other foods in the container cause some kind of reaction in the almonds that degrade them?

I would keep the almonds separate. Having moisture on them is likely causing them to mold.

I've kept ground almonds in an airtight container unrefrigerated for literally years and they've never gone mouldy or fluffy. I would guess that the moisture in the fridge is the problem?
