I used to go to that one in Kensington when I first went vegan. I think I went four times.

I bought some vegan lemon curd at the Essex one that I still haven't tried. I'm thinking of making overnight oats.

Wishing them all the best of luck!

Today-Vegan Meetup, Brighton at 2.30 pm

Event by Brighton & Hove Vegans - (also Meetup group)

Alcampo Lounge, London Rd, Brighton (Dog friendly)

Duration: 2 hr

Public · Anyone

There is a separate vegan menu at Alcampo - and it’s warm and comfortable!
Check the vegan menu on the website.

This get together has a later start time than usual because of a Viva! activism event at New Road beforehand.

https://thelounges.co.uk/alcampo/

Where to start with Alcampo Lounge? There’s just too much.

We’re a big, beautiful place with a great range of food and drink including kids, gluten free and vegan menus, we’ve a lovely terrace and we’ve a massive sign that says “Circus” sourced from Drew Pritchard the lovely Salvage Hunters man. Oh and we’re proud to be a registered Happy Café, a movement based around the simple idea of “a friendly and welcoming place to meet other people with a shared interest in promoting happiness and wellbeing.”

Now that just about sums us up.

- Bring a tote bag for your shopping.
- Bring a reusable cup & cutlery.
- Bring your own tupperware to fill up with goodies.
- Take public transport where you can or liftshare.
- If you have to drive, offset your emissions by planting a tree in our grove.
