US Diabetes Association-Value of veg diets

try googling "savory vegan oatmeal".

That's a nice recipe however it still doesn't add anything like lentils etc that would add bulk and slow down the glucose spike.

lol oatmeal with my fruit - I don't do a ton of fruit
in my steel cut there are a handful of frozen cranberries and a handful of frozen berries and half a banana, oh, and a date
in my rolled oats two handfuls of frozen berries and 1 banana every second time or so and a date

I do add walnuts, raw pumpkin seeds, ground flax, peanut butter powder, hemp hearts and some spices, salt, cocoa powder, cayenne, turmeric etc.

did you just contradict yourself? well maybe "handful of frozen cranberries and a handful of frozen berries and half a banana, oh, and a date" or "two handfuls of frozen berries and 1 banana every second time or so and a date" isn't a "ton". but more than the handful of blue berries or the 4 strawberries I use.
:)

Rolled oats have a staple breakfast for me, actually sprouted, with a Tbls ground flax, a Tbls wheat germ 1/2 cups blueberries and sometimes strawberries. I'm always full till lunch, and sometimes skipping lunch. I think I cook 1/3 dry, in water
If I remember I add a tsp of lions mane powder

I've been reading so much about the nutritional properties of mushroom varieties, and all the mushroom coffees, I had to try
This was an Amazon deal some time ago, and was the same brand as my favorite nooch-Naturebell. They asked me to give a review and I got a second bag
Anyway, it's touted for brain health, and other stuff, but I can say I do feel it's given me a boost. I hate it in coffee, and not a great taste on it's own, but I've found Iike it in grains, soups, esp miso and soy milk
