Designer Radiators – Worth the Extra Cost, or Just Style Over Substance?

Hi everyone,

I’m renovating my living room and considering swapping my old panel radiators for designer ones. I love the look of vertical and column styles, but they’re significantly pricier than standard models.

Do they actually perform as well when it comes to heat output and efficiency, or am I mostly paying for aesthetics? Has anyone here installed them?

I’d especially like to know about running costs, how well they heat larger rooms, and whether they’re compatible with heat pumps or low-temperature systems.

Any brand recommendations or regrets would be hugely appreciated!
