Copy Me That Recipe manager

AnyList sounds great. Maybe even better than Grocery Gadget. I've invested a ton of times putting stuff in my grocery gadget so I won't be changing any time soon. but if i ever do....
looking thru this old topic and saw this.
I switched to AnyList a couple of years ago when GroceryGadget went Unsupported.

So Bad news copymethat fans.
Copymethat is no longer free. Well it's free for the first 40 recipes.
I haven't decided whether to go monthly or lifetime or switch out.

That is correct; the free version of
Copy Me That now has limitations, and many advanced features, including saving an unlimited number of recipes, require a paid membership. Previously, users could save an unlimited number of recipes for free.

Changes to the Free Version
The core functionality of saving recipes from the web is still available for free, but recent changes have introduced limits or moved previously free features behind a paywall.
  • Recipe Limit: A user reported getting a notice that the app will no longer be free for over 40 recipes.
  • Premium Features: Features such as an unlimited number of recipes, an improved scrollable overview for meal plans, and the ability to view more recipes at a time in a list view are now considered Premium features.
  • Cost: A paid membership costs approximately $0.99 per month or a one-time "lifetime" purchase (around $25-$65, depending on when purchased). One paid membership works across all your devices.

Alternatives
Due to these changes, some users have looked for alternatives. Popular options include:
  • Paprika: A highly recommended, feature-rich app, though it requires a separate purchase for each platform (e.g., Windows, Android, iOS).
  • RecipeSage: A free (donation-based & open-source) alternative for Web, iOS, and Android that allows you to capture recipes from URLs.
  • OneNote: Microsoft's free note-taking application can be used to organize and save recipes, often in conjunction with the Office Lens app for capturing images of printed recipes.

awwww...do I get to keep mine?
I do have a lot of things I could delete! I've been thinking maybe I should print a copy of what I actually use
I haven't looked into the others, but I will. Thanks for the heads up!

I plan on picking some to save on CopyMeThat and then figure out how to migrate as many as possible to something else.
but I'm bummed.
If I do cough up the bucks, maybe that will be a good thing in the long run. I don't use all the features on CopyMeThat - maybe paying for it will encourage me to get my money's worth.

Just got an email that AnyList Complete is now $10/ year.
I already use the free version for things like grocery shopping.
I didn't know it also did recipes
and meal plans.

Going to try using my AnyList for those things and if I like it I think 10 bucks a year is not too bad.
