Omfg can't believe Twilight just did that to me!! Who else saw it?? Xxx
omfg is right! now i see what you meant.
that was the best twist ever in any movie ever. :p which in turn, makes this probably the best movie of the series.
so glad we were the first to see it because if it gets leaked out and i had heard about it before hand, i would have been extremely bummed out.

we had a blast. took 2 of my nieces and it was quite the boisterous audience (in which we happily participated). in fact my niece started the whole lot of us clapping and cheering when, after 15 painful minutes of trailers, it finally started.

but i feel totally hung over right now and can barely type, let alone articulate with any cohesiveness.
and i have so much more to post re both the movie itself and the movie experience.
to be continued...

I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'm feeling a lot calmer about the whole situation now.
I never even knew there was a big twist!!
The emotions I went through were shock, disbelief, denial, anger, sadness, excitement and relief...all within about 15 mins!
If I hadn't been sat in the middle of a row and had been on an isle I probably would have walked out down to principle. Glad I couldn't and stuck it out to the end though!
Seeing it again on Sunday so I can watch the battle and actually concentrate this time...think I watched it through angry tears last night lol xxx

perfect description of what i felt too!

Seeing it again on Sunday...
love it!
i'm seeing it again tomorrow night (Sat) because one of the girls at work bought tickets for a special event where we get all dressed up and have dinner in a fancy restaurant and then walk across the street to the exclusive-reserved-just-for-us movie theatre. her daughter couldn't go so she asked me if i would want to take her place...that was a big hell yeah!
then i'm going to see it one more time because my 70something mom is a big fan too, plus the nieceys want to see it again as well.

p.s. thanks for making this thread :weird:

Are we talking about a twist that wasn't in the book? Because I don't remember anything particularly twist-ish in the book, except for maybe

Jacob's obscene and random child-love.

Not that.
There is a twist that isn't in the book.
I don't want to say anymore tho if u haven't seen it because it will ruin it for u xxx

Saw it today. Whoo boy! Talk about a twist! The name should be changed to Breaking Dawn Part II, the Heart Attack Special. I'm too old for this type of shenanigans! Truthfully, I loved it and felt Bill Condon did a superb job of wrapping things up. Well done.

(spoiler)type stuff(/spoiler)

except you use [ ] instead of the ( )

My daughter went to the midnight showing first. I made her promise not to divulge the secret, no matter how hard I tried to worm it out of her.
I enjoyed all the films. Movie snob I am not. They were what they were-just a whole lot of fun. I do wish the nay-sayers would just relax. It's not meant to be War and Peace. Just good old fun.

Conversation at work:
Me: I LOOOOOVVVVEEDDDDDD Twilight *followed by some Edward and Jasper swooning*
Colleague 1: Eugh, Twilight is rubbish, it's the worst film EVER
Colleague 2: It's such homoerotic emo ******** (yes that was actually what was said)
Me: Have you even seen it?
Colleague 1 & 2: Well, no.

:brood:

Put it in a spoiler! I'm never going to see the movie but I want to know :)
I hope this works and I don't ruin the film for anyone!!

They kill off a load of the main characters!! It's horrific. Turns out after about 15 mins of thinking the film has been ruined, it was all just a vision of the future that then doesn't happen!
