I have much respect for all the Seaworld trainers interviewed. They genuinely seemed disturbed at how easy it was to become a trainer in their day, what they'd taken part in and the lies they were told that are still fed to the public. They speak out for these intelligent mammals, namely Orcas and though the movie focuses a lot on Tillikum other horrid stories about what goes on are discussed and ultimately it lets the viewer come to their own conclusion these "theme parks" are out of date and barbaric.
For me, the film drew parallels to when i opened my eyes to the meat industry and sought ways to help so maybe that's why i find it so relatable. Good but tough documentary about human nature and what we destroy in the name of love.
