Not expecting some great cataclysm soon, but groceries have been more and more expensive recently, and now my country is at war. I'm considering getting some non perishables in bulk right now.

I also plan on getting a car this summer, and I am almost certainly going to get an EV, even if it will need to be a crappy one with my budget. Gasoline is a limited resource and I can't see prices staying stable in the next few years. We will see the state of geopolitics at that point though.

my stock up grocery shopping is almost done and I am tired out... we park in an underground parking garage that stays quite cool and yet not freezing and so I leave my extra items in our vehicle - I found 10 bag of onions for $3 and 10 lbs of potatoes for $4 and that is amazing - so happy I don't stock up on meats as that would be crazy expensive - lots of large bags of split red lentils and other dry beans, tons of rice now on hand and cans of beans also - so hopefully for the next while I will only have to buy fresh items like bananas, oranges/grapefruit, mushrooms, kale etc although my freezer is backed to the brim with frozen fruit and vegetables and w/w pita and wraps etc
