RSPCA-WEST HATCH

Netting entanglement remains a common reason for us admitting injured wildlife. Often with the animal sustaining catastrophic injuries, like this poor fox cub who was sadly found tangled with their deceased sibling (the injuries were too graphic to publish.

The remaining cub is doing well. She has recovered from her injuries and has been introduced to a new litter mate. However she will now have to spend a minimum of 4 months in care until she reaches an age of independence.
Help us to protect animals by:

❗️
Removing nets when not in use and storing them properly, off the ground.
❗️
If you do have to use them, keep them taut and inspect regularly.
❗️
Use alternatives with rigid solid mesh to protect ponds and crops.

SHIMMER OF HOPE-WILD BIRD SANCTUARY in EXETER, UK

Disabaled gulls have an egg!

''These two gulls would have been put to sleep…

They’re both disabled and couldn’t survive in the wild.
But they were rescued… and something amazing happened
❤️

They met in the aviary… bonded… and now they have eggs
Without the sanctuary, they wouldn’t be here.
We urgently need help to keep feeding and caring for the birds
Even a couple of pounds makes a difference:

https://www.gofundme.com/f/regular-donations-for-food

We also desperately need volunteers

Even just once a week to help clean the aviary would help so much

Please share if you can — this is how we keep going.''

Deep into the heart of pigeon racing season, with birds being endlessly lost, injured, and outright killed, we’re on the lookout for passionate pigeon-lovers willing to take to the streets and help spread the word of how cruel this ‘sport’ really is.
If street outreach isn’t up your alley, you can still support the mission through donating to LGP on our website! LITTLE GREEN PIGEON
❤️

Please get in touch if interested!

Even pidges want to come over to Brighton.

This little love flew all the way across the English Channel from France and somehow landed in Brighton. After having a well earned rest, some food and lots of love, they will be travelling all the way to Scotland to be adopted.

That's quite a long trip for a tiny pidge.
