Technology Wi-Fi kettle ... no

An internet-remote-controlled kettle does not seem to make so much sense to me as you will still need to manually pour the boiling water into your teapot.

But I guess it is one of these "We do it because it is possible" things ;-)

I have an automatic coffee maker in which I pour the water in the night before. Until we get viable household robots, that's one step in the process that won't go away.:p
 
You also have to go there to physically drink the coffee.

And, if you do not freshly grind the beans, my experience is that you might not get the full taste.

But yes, I agree, waking to the smell of freshly brewed coffee might be quite nice.
