Hey!

Anyone know anything about nasal polyps in goats? Suspecting enzootic intranasal tumor. Hoping to be proven wrong. Couldn't take a good picture, but there are several small polyps bilaterally inside the nasal cavity, bleeding lightly but easily when cleaned manually, constant production of boogers. The brother seems perfectly fine.

We have a bunch of animals, like a mini-sanctuary.
Called the vet, but nobody knows anything about nasal polyps. So we are just monitoring his condition, and for now it doesn't look too bad, and he seems mostly unaffected, as long as he doesn't have too much buggers in there. We treat him with nasal steroids, NaCl flushing, and NSAID, we'll see. Nobody cares about goats, except as a resource to exploit for money, so no research is done and nobody knows anything. Treatment options are pretty much "lead to the head".

I'm hoping for the best for your goat. (I didn't reply earlier because I don't know anything about nasal polyps in goats...
...although I've had some experience with intestinal polyps in humans. In me, to be precise. Fortunately, I've found them easy to deal with.
