Wisconsin Breeder of Beagles for Medical Research Loses License
This facility has been under constant scrutiny and protest for quite some time. Judge viewed the evidence of animal abuse and this facility loses its license as of July 1st. Ridgland Farms has agreed to hand over 1500 beagles to shelters. Unfortunately, 500 beagles can be legally sold until July 1st.
Ridglan to Surrender License, End Dog Sales to Labs
Under a new agreement with the State of Wisconsin, Ridglan Farms will surrender its breeding license and stop selling beagles for experimentation. Ridglan agreed to give up its breeding license rather than face prosecution for mistreatment to animals.
