Safe House, the wonderful rescue organization mentioned in this article, is where I adopted Dominic and Simon, a/k/a The Men in Black, my chicken house kitties, as well as Captain Snuggles the rooster, who was found in a Chicago alley, totally de-beaked, an escapee from a cock fighting ring.
