Nutrition & Diet Vitamin B 12 - Need Advise !

It seems that it is time for me to start to supplement my diet with Vitamin B 12. According to various links the daily recommended dosage is 12 ug or 2400-3000 mcg.

Can anyone recommend a reputable brand from iherb on the following link ? What dosage do you take and it is on a daily basis ?

I believe µm and mcg is the same thing: micrograms. (You definitely don't need 2400-300 mcg daily, unless you have some kind of illness or deficiency.)

For dosage, the recommendations vary from country to country, and from expert to expert. veganhealth.org has some recommendations here: http://veganhealth.org/articles/dailyrecs

Personally, I take the Veg1 chewable vegan multivitamin which despite being a multivitamin only has a handful of different vitamins and minerals. It has only 10mcg of B12 and is supposed to be taken daily. (So it's a bit below the recommendation from veganhealth!) It's easy to swallow as it's chewable and has a pleasant taste. That one can be ordered from the Vegan Society's online shop. Unsure whether they ship overseas, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do.

iherb.com seems to have quite a selection though, I'm sure you can find something decent there.

My omni brother-in-law kept getting dizzy and he has been recently diagnosed with a B12 deficiency. I try and take a few tablets a week and I also take a multi-vit.
