I figured I would post this as I nearly went bizerk over it.

Trial and error led me to this beauty...

2 cups coconut milk (I use unsweet)
1 banana
3 cups kale
2 scoops protein powder (I use Jarrows Plant Formula - pea/hemp/rice isolate)
3 tbsp fair trade cocoa powder
2 tbsp peanut butter (I use unsalted/unsweet)
A few drops of whole leaf stevia/or one packet

Tastes (and looks) like a chocolate smoothie - BAM! SCORE!

This is a GREAT post work out shake. I mean, it's totally BOMB!

Is that not more of a FAT smoothie?
Coconut milk / cocoa powder / PB

And? Fat doesn't make you fat. I am 8% body fat. 8%. I drink this shake 4 times a week and have not gained an ounce of fat. My blood tests are also, stellar.

I really hate this crap. FAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU FAT. Fat is also not unhealthy.

What might be "crap" for you, is a question for me.

If I only had 8 % body fat, I would also not mind :)

Well, it's got a good bit of protein, it sounds like, which is something some vegans struggle to fit into their diet. If they were worried about fat or calories, I suppose they could switch the coconut milk with soya milk etc.

Sound good to me, except I think Stevia tastes awful so I'd use sugar. Or sweetened coconut milk.

I make something similar minus the cacao. I like adding sf pancake syrup ( or Maple syrup) and Jarrow's soya isolate powder plus a frozen banana.

I like NuNatural liquid stevia as a sweetener. I often like to blend stevia with sucralose as it adds to the sweetness.

I work at a smoothie shop called Blend It Healthy (google us) out Cardio Meal Blend which contains Banana, Avocado, Kale and Spring Mix has 7.5 grams of protein. If anyone is ever in the LA area come check us out.
