Hi All,

I'm currently in the process of designing my own homemade vegan confectionary line starting with lollipops.
They will not contain any animal products what so ever.
Would this be of interest to anyone on here?
Also what are your opinions on caster sugar? I have done a lot of digging and I can not find a definitive answer whether or not it comes into contact with bone char.
Please let me know so I can work on this.
Thanks for any replies in advance,

Blake.

Here's a PETA list of vegan-friendly sugar companies: https://www.peta.org/living/food/is-sugar-vegan/

I think Bob's Red Mill makes caster sugar.

I think a vegan confectionary line is a great idea. Lollipops are a fun place to start, I think honestly we need more vegan candies that replace things like Starburst and gummies. Sweet Tarts are "technically vegan" with that whole bone char issue plausibly making it only 99.9 percent, so vegan versions would probably sell well. I've noticed more attention has been given to vegan chocolate in the current market.
