News Vegan 'chicken shop' opens in Hackney, London

[Second Summer]

Temple of Hackney opened its doors for the first time on Saturday to the delight of hordes of people who had queued around the block.

The small fast food joint is the brainchild of Rebecca McGuinness and her husband Pat O’Shea, both 29.

Wow, I didn't realise they had a stall at Brick Lane before this.

It's funny as Hackney used to be such a rough area. I used to work with young offenders and they said they locked their car doors when they drove through there!

I read that there is a second restaurant in Camden (opening this month?) and this one is more of a proper restaurant and has indoor seating. Temple of Camden.
