I haven't seen an article yet which shows the breakdown of the vote.

And yesterday, the Supreme Court upheld key provisions of the Affordable Care Act, over Scalia's vehement objections. If that vote had gone otherwise, the ACA would have been gutted.

I bet the Justices seldom socialize as a group - I think it would be difficult for some of them to be in the same room as Scalia, considering how personal he gets in some of his dissenting opinions.

I did think there might be a chance to see an African American President in my lifetime, but I expected him to be Republican and probably from a military background (someone like Colin Powell).
