In a magazine recently I saw a Gordon Ramsay recipe for “Teriyaki-glazed duck with sticky plums” together with a half page photo of the result. The headline for the recipe was “Duck to die for.”
In ball point pen beside the headline someone had written “The duck did.” which just about says it all.
