At a local HFS today, I discovered that Tofurky has 3 new sausage flavors (or at least new to me). The Cajun style sounded like something I would like. The other two flavors were Chick'n & Apple and Spinach & Pesto. I might try the other two someday and possibly review them as well.
As with all Tofurky products, it is vegan friendly and non-GMO.
As for flavor, wow, this sausage is good. It is very bold and tastes like it should be burning your mouth with heat, but it's not hot. It would do well in Mexican style dishes, chili, in a hot dog bun with mustard & sauerkraut, or just by itself. It has a sophisticated flavor that rivals Field Roast's Chorizo style sausage. I hope this flavor catches on and sticks around. I will definitely be a repeat buyer of it. It comes in a pack of 4 and cost me $4.39.
