So, J.D. Salinger was a crazy person, and decided that these here stories ought not come out until fifty years after his death (in other words, ~2061), but thanks to the wonders of the internet, some chumpsky uploaded them onto a torrent site, and they spread like wildfire. They've been confirmed genuine by some dude in Texas, too. One of the stories was available to be read in Princeton's Library if you were under supervision while doing so, meaning the world is now a better place.
