On this forum, and on others, I notice that me viewing a thread doesn't push the viewing count up....do I not exist or something?! I feel belittled....

I struggle to reproduce the issue since there are virtually no threads I haven't viewed ... Clearly, the view count is working, since the numbers are higher than 0. It might be a caching issue, which means it takes a little while before the numbers are updated.On this forum, and on others, I notice that me viewing a thread doesn't push the viewing count up....do I not exist or something?! when I saw the

thread, it had viewing as '7'.....I viewed it and after it still said 7, and half an hour later it says seven.....it's me isn't it?

just tried it on another forum, and got it there too......maybe I just don't exist....
I have noticed this for years....I used to have a French teacher who used to tell pupils 'you do not exist'(in a strong accent)....as his form of telling them off...
