A coworker showed me a photo of a lamb bring roasted today. Like, a whole lamb, skinned .. Her husband and she are Greek and I guess it's a thing. She didn't know .. I told her immediately I was vegan and she took it away, but... ugh.

I am sick of receiving ads from my local grocery store with a picture of a piece of animal flesh that someone has cut into with a knife. It makes me not want to shop there, but it’s a great store that treats its employees well.
I also don’t like going to the NYT page online and seeing an article about how to cook a chicken or a turkey, with a picture of said chicken or turkey. It’s so barbaric. It makes me sick that so many people see no problem whatsoever with this.
